Greg Watkins, Author & Illustrator Drawing, telling stories, and mischief
were Greg’s defenses against bullying, abuse, and dyslexia. The Marines taught him
that being different is okay and education is necessary. By selling his paintings and
coping with his learning problems, he earned his degree in interior architectural
design. Later, a car wreck broke his back, ending his residential building career and
reviving his dream to write and illustrate books for children.
Greg’s presentation includes telling stories, talking about bullying and sticking up for
little guys, drawing with students, asking their input on his books in progress, and
answering their questions.
