Nancy K. Samuel When her son’s school lacked certified athletic trainers and
his friends neglected academics to pursue sports, Nancy made changes. As he
gained athletic stardom and college scholarships, she worked to guide him and other
athletes and to provide the necessities for athletics and academics. Her experiences
