Jimmy Jacobs, Author, Editor, and Storyteller Early in high school, he starred in baseball and basketball and coasted in academics. After a warning that poor grades block athletic scholarships, he became an academic honor student as well as a record setting high school and college athlete. His love for the outdoors and the frustration of sitting behind a desk led him to a new career path – first as a free lancer and then a professional writer and editor for outdoor magazines. He also writes books, makes television appearances, and tells stories. Jimmy’s presentations mix tall tales, family yarns, sports stories, and Native American legends. He also offers a workshop on using writing to build a career doing things you love like fishing. His books: Moonlight Through The Pines ($7.95) and 5 books on fishing.
